During the summer months of June and July, Camp Adventure is offered to the public Monday through Thursday. The Camp educates grades K through 12th in reading, writing, character education, mathematics, language arts and science. All academic subjects are taught by certified teachers. Children are divided into groups based on their grade levels. During the Camp, children also participate in the following clubs: Book Club, Cheerleading, Dance, Dramatic Arts (Choir/Drama), Public Speaking, and Health & Fitness. Clubs are chosen by each child.
Camp Adventure provides weekly field trips on Thursdays where the children enjoy cultural activities, educational outings, recreational activities, and participation in community service projects. The children spend one-to-two week(s) each at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Gateway Baptist Church, Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, and the Episcopal Church of Ascension. The churches sponsor most of the costs for the camp. However, there is a $60 one-time only registration fee. All Camp services are offered free of charge for all participants.
